Biography

In 2024, Susan became the president of Healing Gateway International Ministries after Teia Martinez passed the Colorado ministry office, Healing Hearts International Ministries, for Inner Healing, Counseling, and Deliverance to her. Susan’s ministry involvement began in 1991, with involvement in children’s ministry at church, altar ministry, and watchman intercession teams. She has ministered and led teams in church ministry settings and various ministries outside the church, including women’s ministries. Susan also has over 30 years of experience in management and leadership within the healthcare field.

Susan became the intercession team lead for Healing Hearts/Teia Martinez Ministries in 2016. In 2018, Susan joined the Arise Women’s Gathering intercession and lead team. In 2019, she became a counselor at Healing Hearts/Teia Martinez Ministries. In March 2021, Susan became the director of the Healing Hearts Colorado location when Teia Martinez moved her ministry to Texas.

Susan is passionate about ministering to families, particularly those recovering from abuse and trauma. She desires that people would be able to receive the healing and freedom they need in their lives to fulfill their kingdom destiny.

Susan is married to her husband, John, with two grown stepdaughters and four grandchildren. She is the only girl of five children, with many nieces and nephews. Susan was born and raised in Colorado Springs and loves outdoor activities, reading, and crafts. Camping, fishing, hiking, horseback riding, and playing team sports have been a part of her life since she was very young.
